This project involved the Faience Replacement and Roof works to South Kensington Station. As principal contractor, Circet coordinated this challenging design & build project, interfacing with multiple stakeholders including London Underground, English Heritage and local residents. The works were undertaken behind hoardings during engineering and traffic hours.
The scope of works included the replacement of terracotta faience, design and construction of new station roof, design and installation of replacement windows to the façade, brick and concrete repairs, painting to masonry, canopies, steels and ornate ironwork, structural steel installation, drainage works and pigeon roofing.
