Each of the pillars underpinning our strategy reflects the Sustainable Development Goals° (SDGs), adopted by the UN’s 193 Member States in 2015.

The global agreement reached in 2015 shows the growing understanding among Member States that only a sustainable development model will reduce poverty and ensure a better future for all. The SDGs reflect the global challenges we face, in particular those associated with poverty, inequality, the climate, environmental damage, prosperity, peace and justice.
